THE ALGONQUIN KID benefit celebrating Amas’s 50th Anniversary

SAVE THE DATE.  Saturday, November 17th is when a benefit performance of THE ALGONQUIN KID will be presented as part of the 50th anniversary celebration of Amas Musical Theatre.  Produced by Donna Trinkoff, the evening will be a gala events:  a theatricalized version of the book including book excerpts, songs associated with the hotel (by Lerner & Loewe, Noel Coward, Alec Wilder, Rodgers & Hart, et al.), and a slideshow featuring rare photos and illustrations (e.g. we have special permission from the Al Hirschfeld Foundation).  With direction by Broadway’s Charles Repole and musical direction by Michael Lavine, its all-star cast will soon be announced.  It’s going to be a real treat for an outstanding cause.
